Privacy

How Threshold Safe handles data: cookieless analytics, no tracking, what we collect if you subscribe or contact us, and your rights under the GDPR.

This page explains, in plain language, what data Threshold Safe collects and why. The short version: you can read the entire site anonymously, we set no tracking cookies, and we collect personal data only if you choose to give it to us by subscribing or getting in touch.

Reading the site

You do not need an account, and you do not have to give us anything to read any page. We use privacy-first, cookieless analytics to understand which pages are useful. This records aggregate, anonymous events (for example "a guide was opened" or "a podcast was played") with no cookies, no advertising identifiers, and no attempt to identify you. We do not build a profile of you and we never sell data.

If you subscribe to the newsletter

If you enter your email to receive our weekly digest, we store that email with our email provider, Brevo, so we can send you the digest. We ask for nothing else. You can unsubscribe from any email with one click, which removes you from the list. We use your email only to send the digest and never share it.

If you contact us

If you use the contact form, the message you send (and your email, if you choose to include it for a reply) is delivered to our private team channel so we can read and respond. We use it only to reply and to improve the site. You can reach us anonymously - an email is only needed if you want a response.

Who processes data for us

We rely on a small number of established providers to run the site: our hosting and delivery provider, our database provider for site data, our privacy-first analytics provider, and our email provider for the newsletter. Each processes data only to provide their service to us.

Sensitive-topic note

Because of the subject matter, signing up could imply information about health or behaviour. We treat any data you give us with that in mind: minimal collection, no profiling, no sharing, and straightforward removal on request.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and similar laws you can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data you have given us (your subscription email or a contact message). To do so, use the contact page. We will action deletion requests promptly.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update this page. It is not a substitute for legal advice, and it describes our practices as of the current site.

Information, not medical advice. Threshold does not promote or encourage MDMA use. This exists so that people who make their own choices can make safer, better-informed ones. It is not a substitute for professional care.
