Terms

The terms for using Threshold Safe: an educational harm-reduction resource, not medical advice, provided as-is, for adults making their own informed…

By using Threshold Safe you agree to these terms. They are written plainly and kept short.

What this site is

Threshold Safe is an independent, educational harm-reduction resource about MDMA and psychedelics. It exists so that people who have already made their own choices can make safer, better-informed ones. We do not sell, supply, promote, or encourage the use of any substance, and nothing here is a recommendation to use. The lowest-risk option is always not to use.

Not medical advice

The information here is general and educational. It is not medical, legal, or professional advice, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional who knows your situation, your body, and your medications. Never disregard professional advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you read here. In an emergency, call your local emergency services immediately.

For adults

This site is intended for adults. If you are under 18, please seek information and support through age-appropriate services and a trusted adult or professional.

Accuracy and updates

We work hard to keep the site accurate and evidence-graded, and we correct errors when we find them. Even so, the information is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, and knowledge in this area changes. We are not liable for decisions made on the basis of the content, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Links to other sites

We link to third-party resources (for example drug-checking services and crisis lines) because they are useful. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.

Contact and corrections

If you spot an error - especially a safety-critical one - please tell us through the contact page and we will fix it. For how we source and grade information, see our editorial standards.

Information, not medical advice. Threshold does not promote or encourage MDMA use. This exists so that people who make their own choices can make safer, better-informed ones. It is not a substitute for professional care.
